Last week, I made the executive decision to book a beach condo and work from Montauk this week… and it was the best decision I’ve made in awhile. I needed a change of pace from the constant work and social schedule Brooklyn inspires and to focus on work and the soul.

For those that have never been, Montauk is lovely. I had been here several times before to beach it up, but this was the first time I felt like a local - cooking with new friends, eating and shopping at the local spots, and working from the local coffee shop, Coffee Tauk.

As far as companionship, I dragged my recently-graduated cousin-slash-roommate, Jenn, with me (not that she needed that much convincing). And we made some lovely new friends that share our love for building community, good food and wine, great back-porch conversations, and just plain ol’ loving people. Interestingly enough, one is from Texas and one is involved with Social Enterprise work. Such a small world. :)

Here are some photos from our trip. Enjoy!
